Provides local (server room), regional (office wide) and global (IP based) server control using a unique mix

of KVM switch, extender and IP technology. The SmartView World offers secure

and flexible control for the advanced needs of network managers.

The SmartView World allows KVM consoles to be directly attached to provide local control

in the server room. Integrated extender ports enable computers to be located in offices up

to 200m away, linked via Cat 5/6 cables. For wider access the SmartView World provides

secure LAN, Internet or dial-in IP control so users can gain access to servers from any PC

on the company’s internal network or from anywhere around the world.

Four simultaneous users supported from a diversity of access points (1 x local, 1 x IP port supporting multiple client

viewers, 2 x local/twisted pair)

16 computer ports expandable to support up to 500 computers

Multi platform support for desktop, rackmount and laptop PCs, Mac, Sun, RS/6000, SGI and Alpha computers

Advanced on-screen computer selection menu includes server power control functions

No additional software license required as remote console viewer uses standard Java enabled web browser
